Small town girl, Army brat, Whitney & Tyler's Mom; you can call me whatever you want, but my best title these days is "Nana"! Love my family and my job. I am blessed! I used to be the 'Night Maid', but now moved on up to the Morning Crew! I have lived in Lawton since 1972 when my Dad was stationed at Ft. Sill. I grew up on Country Music, and I love it!
I am the lucky husband of a gorgeous Texas lady, the father of four wonderful kids whose ages range from eight to nineteen. My oldest son and I play music in the local area on a regular basis. I live a busy life, owning a business, normal kids schedules with after school events, team roping, playing music venues, taking care of all the various critters in the Wilson Barnyard, and being your ordinary Oklahoma redneck husband and daddy. I love our way of life and I wouldn't trade it for anything! I am the average guy that probably lives just down the dirt road from your home
Just like his listeners, Buddy Logan is first and foremost a lover of Texas Music. “I love real music written and sung by the same person. And story songs,” Buddy says. “The way a Robert Earl Keen or Chris Knight spin a story is pretty much unheard of now. It’s a shame more people don’t get to hear music of that caliber on radio much anymore.” And his infectious passion for the music oozes throughout Radio Texas, LIVE! It’s been a love affair since he first heard Pat Green’s “Carry On” in 2001
My husband David and I live on "The Mace Place" and raise cattle for show. We both enjoy the country life but just wish that once in awhile we could get pizza delivery! I have 2 horses that I adore. My husband, well, not so much! He thinks all they do is eat and poop! (He's right, you know.) We have no children unless you count our dogs Tooter and Rowdy. Oh my GOSH they keep us going. You'll hear a lot about them on my shift.
Sam Alex has always been a big fan of country music -- he's worked for country stations across the nation and never misses his favorite acts when they come to town. He's been on red carpets for many different awards shows and interviewed some of your favorite celebrities, like Will Ferrell and Taylor Swift. Originally from the Chicago area, Sam now lives in Nashville, where he hosts the Taste of Country Nights radio show. If you ever see him on lower Broadway, get him a pina colada and some BB
