EMI recording artist Eric Church released his most recent album, ‘Chief,’ in July, and now he’s riding the waves of that record’s popularity with the overwhelming response to his headlining tour — the Blood, Sweat and Beers Tour. Because of the success of his tour to this point, Church just announced that he’s adding a second leg to the tour, including cities like Nashville, New York City, Minneapolis and more.

Adding to his recent accolades, Church’s single ‘Drink In My Hand’ is his first single to land in Billboard’s Top 5 and continue climbing. Church also broke Jason Aldean‘s record for the most tickets ever sold for a live event at the Landers Center in Southaven, Miss. and he has been selling out other large venues with his fan-pleasing tour. Church also just got a 2012 Grammy nod in the form of a nomination for Best Country Album of the Year.

With additional dates added to Church’s tour, he’ll be hitting venues like Nashville’ Bridgestone Arena and Morrison, Colo.’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

You can purchase tickets for the upcoming shows now on Church’s website, with the option of buying a special package securing VIP treatment and admission into a pre-show party, as well as an intimate acoustic backstage performance from Church. The newly added 2012 tour dates are as follows:
