Eric Church hinted at the release of some new live material from his Holdin' My Own Tour in a post to social media on Thursday (Aug. 31).

Church posted a video to Instagram, teasing the release of live songs recorded during the tour but providing few details.

According to the teaser clip above, whatever Church is planning is titled 61 Days in Church, and it's due to drop on Friday (Sept. 1). The clip features footage of Church's shows from the Holdin' My Own Tour, as well as musical snippets of his songs including "These Boots" and "Springsteen."

Country Music's Highest-Paid Stars

The clip also promises that fans will be able to "relive the Holdin' My Own Tour," but it's unclear if the new release will be a CD, a DVD, a combo pack, a cable special or live tracks released digitally.

Church has built a career as one of country music's biggest live attractions based on his commitment to making every live show special, and he doubled down on that with the Holdin' My Own Tour. The superstar played two-hour sets with no opening act on the tour, and he performed to more than 900,000 total fans during the live shows, making the tour the best-attended across all genres in the last year, according to Pollstar.

Church still has a few live shows on his schedule for the rest of 2017, but he's revamped those shows by announcing special guests and playing a shorter set list. Whatever is coming on Friday marks a chance for fans who did not get to see the Holdin' My Own Tour in person to get in on the unique magic of those special gigs.

The superstar is set to headline the Taste of Country Music Festival in June of 2018.
