Eric Church is going to be the next current hit-maker to be featured in the Country Music Hall of Fame. Eric Church: Inside the Outsider will open Sept. 18 and explore the “Like a Wrecking Ball” singer’s path to Nashville and country stardom.

The cameo exhibition will run for five months, and promises an inside look at Church’s life and career. Stage clothes, guitars, song manuscripts, photos and more from his personal collection will be on display. Country Music Hall of Fame CEO Kyle Young says he’s thrilled to feature Church, a contemporary artist with a rare, uncompromising attitude. The exhibit will run through February.

Additionally, Church is reopening the Outsider’s Joint pop-up store this weekend (July 30-Aug. 1) to give fans a chance to purchase limited edition merchandise for a good cause. The temporary East Nashville boutique will benefit Chruch’s Chief Cares Fund. This reopening coincides with Church’s two shows at the brand new Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville.

July was a good month for Church as his latest album, The Outsiders, reached one million in sales. It’s his second Platinum album, following Chief from 2011.

Currently Luke Bryan and Trisha Yearwood are artists with exhibits at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert are two other contemporary stars who've been featured in recent years.
