The 3rd Annual Moneka Trail Run will be held on May 16, 2015 and will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. The race consists of a 5k run and 1 mile fun run on the Beaver Creek Nature Trail at Waurika Lake. The lake is located 6 miles northwest of Waurika, Oklahoma on highway 5. The race will begin and end at the Moneka South trailhead. Men’s and women’s classes will be divided into the following age groups: 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+. Children under 14 are allowed to participate in the 1 mile fun run, but they must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. All participants under the age of 18 must have a parent sign all registration forms. Pre-Registration: (Until Friday May 8th) 5K- $30, 1 Mile Walk- $20. After May 8th: 5k- $40, 1 Mile Walk- $30. Late registration may not include a t-shirt.
