Bring the family for some BBQ and family fun activities. It's $5.00 to attend. There will be go karts available to rent, face painting, learn to write your name in Braille and blind folded obstacle course. More activities will be added as we approach the date.
There will be door prizes raffled off from the Cajun Peddler, Comfort Inn and Suites, Los Tres, Lawton Floral, Bedrock Nursery, Fluffy's, Swiggs restaurant, Oasis day spa, Tiptons Jewelry, Just for Canines and Kitties too and more!
The proceeds will ALL be kept locally to benefit the newly formed Lawton Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind. Your support will help all of those that are impacted by vision impairment and aiding them to feel like contributing members of our community. What better gift can we give to another than helping them attain their dreams.
The National Federation of the Blind Oklahoma is the state affiliate of the National Federation of the Blind. We know that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams.
