Lawton-Ft. Sill will host it's first ever National Day of Prayer Business Community Prayer Breakfast Thursday, May 3,  at the New City Hall First Floor Conference Center. National Day of Prayer has been celebrated by our nation since 1952, but it will be the first time for city of Lawton to observe the holiday!

The National Day of Prayer, which is held annually on the first Thursday in May was designated by Congress, who asked people to "turn to God, in Prayer and Meditation.'  The President also signed a proclamation encouraging Americans to Pray on this day.

Seating for the 1st Lawton-Ft. Sill Prayer Breakfast  is limited to the first 200 people. breakfast will be held Thursday, May 3 from 6:30am - 7:45 am, with the program beginning at 7:00am.
