Rockefeller Plaza in itself is an experience. But when you add one of country music's hottest duos to the plaza, things really start heating up. Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line worked hard on Labor Day (Sept. 2), performing for a massive crowd on the 'Today' show.

The duo cruised through a set for the Toyota Concert Series, and it was enough to lure a plaza full of people out of their beds on a holiday. The boys were rocking out from the beginning, and fans were obviously excited to hear their FGL's five times Platinum hit 'Cruise,' delivered with special guest Nelly.

"Florida Georgia Line and Nelly rocking our plaza on a Labor Day morning. Well done fellas," co-host Willie Geist said to the artists. After kicking the morning off with 'Cruise,' Nelly performed a medley of his own hits. Then, the country music duo wrapped things up with a bang, performing their latest single 'Round Here,' which has already been Gold-certified.

FGL also took some time to talk to Geist and co-host Savannah Guthrie, where Hubbard explained their collaboration with Nelly. "We are on the same label and we’ve been a huge fan of Nelly since probably middle school," he explained (quote via Digital Journal). "We heard he was interested in doing a remix and we were all jacked up about it. We gave him about a day and he sent up the song back and we were blown away by it, so it was a huge honor."

Although they had to work on a holiday, we bet FGL really didn't mind heading over to the 'Today' show to perform in front of enthusiastic fans, who were singing along to every word. With over 5.5 million downloads of 'Cruise' and an upcoming headlining tour, the duo has a lot more success on the horizon.
