  • 30th Air Defense Artillery Brigade Change of Command

Friday, June 22nd at 9am at the Polo Field - Col. Bill Stacey will relinquish command to Col. Michael Simley.

  • Retreat Ceremony Honoring Brig. Gen. Daniel Karbler

Also Friday, June 22nd - the newly-promoted BG Karbler has been commandant of the Air Defense Artillery School at Ft. Sill since 2008. He will soon assume command of the 94th Army Air and Missile Defense Command at Fort Shafter, Hawaii.

  • Tour of the Wichita's Bike Ride

Saturday, June 23rd at the Museum of the Great Plains @ 6th & Ferris - Tom Chapman Memorial Ride, registration at 7am, ride begins at 8am. Five routes ranging from 11 to 50 miles, going through Lawton & Fort Sill. Longer routes go through the Wildlife Refuge. 353-7496 for info.

  • Fort Sill's MWR and Army Concert Tour

Saturday, June 30th at the Polo Field - access to post will be via Gate 2, Apache Gate, Scott Gate on Fort Sill Blvd and Bentley Gate on Sheridan Rd. No access via Key Gate. Spectacular fireworks display follows the concert. You can view from the Polo Field, or if you're not attending the concert you can go to the Credit Union parking lot on Fort Sill Blvd. 442-3001 for more info.
