Four Ideas To Help You Stick With Your ‘Get Healthy’ New Years Resolutions
If I was to guess a percentage of how many people resolve to 'get fit', 'get healthy', 'lose weight', 'exercise more', etc., I would guess upwards of 85%. I am one of them.
Each year, I resolve to do better, and luckily, last year, I really did do better than the year before. Here's a list of some really great ways to keep those resolutions.
This one happens today! How great is that? No time like the present to keep those resolutions! This 3 mile walk/run starts at 5:30pm at the Lawton/Ft. Sill Chamber of Commerce and weaves through downtown Lawton, ending at Central Mall.
This run/walk is designed to help keep your resolutions. It will take place at Elmer Thomas Park, Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 10am. Register on site or by visiting Lawton Family YMCA. Cost is $25.
This event is FREE for boys and girls ages 9-14 (Age on Jan 1, 2014). Each age and gender has its own age bracket for a total of 12 brackets.
Entry forms will be available at St Mary's school if kids want to pre-register after Christmas break and on-site registration starting at 8:30 am on the day of the event.
