Frankie Ballard is preparing to start a fire on his Light 'Em Up Tour, his very first headlining tour.

Ballard's headlining run -- part of Live Nation's Ones to Watch With Skype Tour -- kicks off Oct. 19 in Minneapolis, Minn. before hitting a total of 19 cities across the United States. The Live Nation series features a slew of talented up-and-comers, including the 'Sunshine and Whiskey' hitmaker.

Ballard won't be embarking on the journey alone, of course. He'll also have Republic Nashville's new group, a Thousand Horses, on board, as well as David Nail, who will co-headline some dates.

"So pumped to be taking my full show on the road this Fall," Ballard says in a release. "Killer venues, all my buddies and no rules … I feel like somebody gave me the keys to the castle!"

Although Ballard hasn't had the opportunity to headline a tour until now, he has gotten to tour with some huge country acts in his past. He's held the opening slot for folks like Jake Owen, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift and even Bob Seger.
