Freddie Hart ‘Easy Loving’ KLAW Classic [VIDEO]

Today's KLAW Classic was a song that almost never made it on the air. 

Freddie Hart's previous single only made it to #68 on the charts and his record label at the time dropped him.  However, an Atlanta DJ has a copy of the song and it took off, soon to become a nationwide hit.  It was the first #1 for Freddie Hart, and after his label quickly re-signed him, he went on to record 5 consecutive number one songs.

It was the CMA Song of the Year in both 1971 and 1972.  Here's your KLAW Classic from this day 42 years ago, 'Easy Loving'.
