George Strait ‘The Cowboy Rides Away’ KLAW Classic [VIDEO]

George Strait announced his retirement from touring yesterday in a press conference at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville.  His final tour will run through 2013 and 2014 with about 20 dates each year.After 30 years on the road, George Strait will ride away.  The tour name has been announced as 'The Cowboy Rides Away Tour', so we chose that song as our KLAW Classic.  'The Cowboy Rides Away' reached the #5 spot on the Country Charts in 1985, and has been the closing song from George's concerts for years.  It's an appropriate tribute to the King of Country Music's final tour.
