George Strait’s Final Show to be Released as Live Album

On June 7, 2014 George Strait took the stage at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas for the final stop of his Cowboy Rides Away tour and put on a historic show that was big - really big.

Before George Strait walked off the stage forever, he performed 40 songs for an attendance record-breaking crowd of 104,793 fans while special guests like Jason Aldean, Vince Gill, Miranda Lambert, Alan Jackson, Faith Hill, Kenny Chesney and more joined him on stage for various songs throughout the night. The show also broke the ticket sales record and raked in close to $18.2 million.

MCA Nashville has announced that a 20-track CD featuring live performances from George Strait's final show at AT&T Stadium will be released on September 16, 2014. The album will include all of the songs performed with a special guest such as 'Ocean Front Property' with Kenny Chesney, 'The Love Bug' with Vince Gill and 'Run' with Miranda Lambert.
