Who would have thought that a childhood bout with Malaria and the stuttering that it caused would become a signature for today's KLAW Classic artist.

Mel Tillis found that to ease hit stuttering, all he had to do was sing. And sing he did.  He began his recording in the 50's and is still singing today.  Today's KLAW Classic comes to us from 1976, and was his 2nd #1 on the country charts.
