As 2011 comes to a close, Google Zeitgeist presents a video retrospective of the most-searched topics that made the year memorable.

The year was dominated by such events as the devastating Japanese tsunami, the 10th anniversary of 9/11, the death of al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden and the passing of tech visionary Steve Jobs. And of course, Rebecca Black made the list. Also unsurprising? Google+ is all over this video.
