It's time for our annual Comanche County Free Fair! There will be live farm animals, a tractor driving contest, pie contest, sassy salsa contest, a lego contest and much much more!! You can pick up a fair book with detailed times for each event from our office or downtown at the OSU Extention office. You can also get your entry tickets there! Come out for lots of family fun!!!

This air show happens every couple of years just down the road at Altus Air Force Base. There will be static displays along with aerial shows. It's free and open to the public, gates open at 9am with entry off of Hwy 62. for more information visit Air Power over Altus.

The Museum of the Great Plains explores the human history of the Great Plains. Take a walk through this beautiful representation of life in OK. Visit the gift shop while you are there!

In the land lottery of 1901, in which the federal government opened southwest Oklahoma for settlement, the second name drawn was that of Mattie Beal. Her home is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This 14 room, 2 story mansion is open to the public Thursday-Sunday from 12-3pm.
