Even with the good news of DA civilians returning to work on Monday at Fort Sill, the Government shutdown has caused Frontier Army Days to be postponed until Spring of 2014.

MG Mark McDonald praised the community for it's support of Fort Sill's civilians during the furlough period, but said that the shutdown continues to impact activities at the post.  Frontier Army Days originally scheduled for this weekend  will not take place due to the frozen budget.

Other Update topics include Basic Combat Training Graduations scheduled for today at McMahon Auditorium and the Inaugural 10 Miler Shadow run coming up on October 20.
