Dad Gives High School Graduation Gift to His Daughter That Took 13 Years to Make
Who says men aren’t persistent? This story sure proves them wrong. Bryan Martin surprised his high school senior daughter with a graduation gift that took 13 years to make!
Earlier this month 13-years-ago Martin bought a gift that he managed to keep a secret from his daughter. Until the day she walked across the stage at her high school graduation! After the ceremony Martin gave Brenna a copy of ‘Oh The Places You’ll Go’ by Dr. Seuss, inside however, Martin had all of Brenna teachers, including kindergarten teachers write a message to her!
Brenna was so touched by this gift that she posted pictures and a message to her dad on Reddit.com where she said this book was ‘truly priceless.’
Martin responded to her message by saying: “... she has always been the light of my life. Doing this was just a small way of letting her know."
‘Today is your day – you are off to great places. You’re off and away!’ – Dr. Seuss.
What did you give the high school seniors in your life this year?
