Horseback Rider Drowns In Grady County, Oklahoma

Authorities in Grady County has reported that a person drowned while on horseback during the afternoon hours on March 18.

The Grady County Sheriff's Department states that witnesses called after seeing the person and the horse go into a pond where they both went underwater. The witnesses say that when the horse came up on the other side of the pond, the rider was missing.

A dive team later went down into the pond and recovered the body.
