At first, you may think this guy is legitimately trying to educate, but believe me... he has many-a-video of him sticking hooks in his body. It's almost as if he has one of those fancy hook fetishes.

It's still good information to know. Getting hooked sucks, and rushing off to the hospital is boring, and a total waste of money.

FYI - The 'tie a string around it and pull' method only works with treble hooks. Tie another loop around the split-ring to pull it down for support.

One thing not covered in this video is the other way to remove a hook. Take a clean straight razor blade, make a very small (1-2mm) incision from the hook towards the barb, and slide it out. Clean the cut, grab some small mono, and stitch that thing back up.
