Lawton Farmer's Market is going to the dogs! This Saturday, May 6th, from 8:00 am to 12 noon, it's the fourth annual Dog Days event at the Lawton Farmer's Market, with all of Lawton invited to bring their dogs out for lots of shopping and four-legged fun.

PetSmart Doggie Bags will be given to the first 100 dogs, if their human companion brings a bag or can of dog food to donate to the Lawton Animal Shelter, with every donor entered into drawings through out the day for doggie prizes.

Pampered Pups Mobile Grooming will be onsite to trim your furry friend's nails, and Clips And Dips will be handing out doggie bandanas, canine cologne and coupons for a free nail trimmings. Dr. Holly Lunsford, Dr. Catrina Black and Midtown Animal Hospital will be there too, offering full vaccinations for just $30, plus free heartworm screenings as with each set of vaccinations. That's half price! Heartworm screening will also be available for just $20 without the vaccinations.

The Lawton Farmer's Market will be hosting the event at their normal location, in the parking lot of the Great Plains Coliseum at 920 SW Sheridan Road.
