Fox News broke the story earlier today citing a confidential police informant who confirmed the story. The notebook was discovered on Monday night, when the University of Colorado called the cops because they received two suspicious packages. Neither package turned out to be a threat, but after investigating all the packages in the school mailroom the police officers discovered a package sent by James Holmes to a psychology professor that was never actually delivered. The school officials have not given reasons why the psychiatrist never received the package.

The notebook also contains disturbing images of Holmes twisted imagination.

‘There were drawings of what he was going to do in it -- drawings and illustrations of the massacre," a close source said to Fox News.

We now know that as a PhD neuroscience student Holmes took many psychology classes.

Holmes is accused of killing 12 people during the midnight showing of the Batman the Dark Knight Rises on July 20. He is currently in jail awaiting trail. His parents are sticking by their son’s side and refusing to cooperate. Holmes also refusing to answer any questions.
