Jason Aldean is a powerful force, but there's one thing the superstar can't hold back, and that's Mother Nature. The singer has been forced to cancel his Sept. 13 date in Cincinnati at the Riverbend Music Center due to circumstances not in his hands.

"Due to the unprecedented amount of rainfall over the past few days causing the Ohio River to rise above flood stage, the Jason Aldean concert scheduled for this Thursday, September 13th has been cancelled," read a tweet on Aldean's social media, as well as that of the venue's. The show apparently will not be rescheduled, and refunds for ticketholders will be available at point of purchase.

According to local news, heavy rains over the weekend were indeed the culprit in dashing Aldean's Ohio fans' hopes. Local flooding and the Ohio River level are expected to recede by Thursday, but it'll be just a bit too late for the show.

Florida Georgia Line fans were hit with similar weather-related disappointments when the duo canceled their  inaugural FGL Fest, set to be held Sept. 8 in Indianapolis, due to severe weather.

Aldean is next set to hit Clarkston, Mich. on Sept. 14, if any disappointed fans want to make a few hours drive up north. He'll then trek out west for the remainder of the tour, wrapping up with a string of California shows at the end of September.
