Jason Isbell's new album, The Nashville Sound, has got Music City shook. The Alabama native (and honorary Texan) dropped a new music video for “Hope the High Road.” It was filmed at the headquarters of Nashville’s Pulse Lighting.

Released on June 16th, with virtually zero radio support,The Nashville Sound, debuted at No. 1 -- ahead of Lady Antebellum's new release, Heart Break. It replaced Chris Stapleton's From a View: Volume 1.

His last album, the critically acclaimed 2015, Something More Than Free, won two Grammy Awards (Best Americana Album, and Best American Roots Song for “24 Frames”). It also won two Americana Music Association Awards (Album of the Year & Song of The Year, “24 Frames”).

The Nashville Sound  features ten new songs: “White Man’s World,” “The Last Of My Kind,” “If We Were Vampires,” “Anxiety,” “Chaos and Clothes,” “Something To Love,” “Cumberland Gap,” and “Hope The Highroad,”  and was produced by fellow Grammy Award-winner Dave Cobb.
