Jeri Anderson’s Top 5 New Country Songs

It has been a few weeks since I have done a 'New Country Song' favorite list. It takes awhile for new songs to grow on me. But as soon as I say that, I have to say that two songs on my list we just got this week, and one has been around for awhile already! Here's my new list!

Of course you would know that George Strait is the first on my list! Brand new song written by his son, George does a great job selling the 'Drinking Man' theme. Blake Shelton is King Midas right now. Everything he touches turns to gold! This song is bound for number one. Alan Jackson is one of the best 'hat' acts left, and this song, written by his nephew, gave me goosebumps the first time I heard it. I have always loved Kix Brooks' voice. In my humble opinion, he didn't get near enough mic time when he was part of the Brooks and Dunn duo. Finally, Tim McGraw sings my life. I am striving each and every day to be a better person. That goal is so huge sometimes, that it's better to just say 'better than I used to be'.
