John Denver’s Fiddle Player Wrote Today’s KLAW Classic [VIDEO]

John Martin Sommers, guitarist/fiddler/banjo/mandolin player in John Denver's band was the writer for today's KLAW Classic.

Sommers recalls that at the time he was feeling “peaceful, happy and content” with his lot in life, and started scribbling some notes about his blissful state along the way. They served as the inspiration for the song. It was one of only 6 songs that reached the top of the charts for John Denver.  Here's your today's KLAW Classic.
