Like his hit song states, Josh Thompson didn't stay "lonely long." The singer has been added to the roster of Toby Keith's Show-Dog Universal label, as announced by his team last week.

Thompson parted ways with Sony Music Nashville in July, after putting the finishing touches on what was going to be his sophomore album 'Change.' He released one single called 'Comin' Around' from the album, which broke Top 30.

The singer says the new project with Show-Dog Universal will be a completely new set of songs, adding that he has already started writing new material for the album.

Thompson's previous hits on country radio include 'Beer on the Table,' 'Way Out Here,' and of course, 'Won't Be Lonely Long.' Other artists signed to the Show-Dog Universal label roster are Trace Adkins, JT Hodges, Jessie James and Rose Falcon.
