Katie Armiger Salutes First Responders With Her New Video [VIDEO]

Its not unusual for celebrities to offer support to charitable organizations with which they have a personal tie. And that’s exactly what singer Katie Armiger has done by starting her “Project Feel Safe” campaign to honor first responders and the risks they take and the sacrifices they make day in and day out.

“I have first responders in my family in Texas and when we released ‘Safe’ it was all about giving back and giving thanks to the people that make us feel loved and protected and safe every day,” Katie explains.

She has been crossing the country to visit fire stations, performing appreciation shows across the country, creating local awareness for first responders. But for Katie, being so close to the subject has been rough at times. “Some of the stations I visited last year were definitely hard because I had no idea what to expect, but it can be pretty emotional and intense.”
