Keith Urban gave a surprise pop-up concert in Nashville on Wednesday night (Jan. 17), and in addition to new songs, he brought guest Kelsea Ballerini up for a major tour announcement. While onstage, the future tourmates performed a powerful cover of pop singer Camila Cabello's hit single "Never Be the Same."

The nearly four-minute performance had Urban showcasing his impressive guitar shredding while Ballerini belted the high notes. She launched the first verse, but Urban joined in on the chorus as the two traded lines. It was a hint of what's to come on the Graffiti U Tour — fans can probably expect that they'll do this again on the road.

Their cover even made its way to Cabello, who gave her stamp of approval. "OH MY GOD!!!! @KeithUrban AND @KelseaBallerini THIS. IS. MAGICAL." the pop singer wrote on social media.

"Never Be the Same" has held the No. 1 position on the pop charts for an impressive seven weeks.

Ballerini's 2018 is proof that dreams come true — she grew up listening to Urban, and with a throwback photo on Instagram showing her meeting him for the first time, she gushes that Urban is the reason she moved to Nashville. "I wish I could go back and tell my 14 year old self that 10 years later I would spend my summer touring with the person who’s songs led me to Nashville," she writes.
