Review: Kenny Chesney Spreads the Love at RodeoHouston 2016 [PICTURES]

Kenny Chesney took the RodeoHouston stage for an eighth time on Tuesday night (March 14). The country superstar didn't talk much, preferring instead to roll from one song to the next -- a move that kept his audience happy.

Sporting a gray T-shirt, blue jeans, boots and a black cowboy hat, Chesney opened his 15-song set with "Reality." "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems" was particularly a crowd favorite; Chesney got the audience singing along to its chorus as palm trees appeared on the video screens.

The singer worked the stage throughout "Somewhere With You," and before playing "Save It for a Rainy Day," he took an opportunity to address concertgoers.

"Houston, Texas, it's good to hear your voices again ...," Chesney said. "I realized, this is my eighth time at the Houston Rodeo ... It feels like home."

Chesney strapped on his guitar and stayed at his standing microphone for "American Kids," the stage drenched in warm lighting to match the hit's sunny melody. The audience chanted the song's sing-a-long chorus -- "a little messed up, but we're all alright" -- back to him.

The artist selected "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy" for his final song of the night, but Chesney's band played on for a few minutes following his exit from the stage.

RodeoHouston 2016, which runs throughout March, offers a star-studded concert lineup, including Keith Urban, Brad Paisley and more. Jake Owen will take the stage on Wednesday night (March 16).
