Happy 74th Birthday to our KLAW Classic artist for today, Kenny Rogers.  Rogers was born on this day in Houston Texas, and began his career as part of several groups including the New Christy Minstrels, and the First Edition.  His solo career has seen over 65 albums and over 190 million records sold.  Rogers career hasn’t been limited to singing; he has also had success as an actor, starring in ‘Six Pack’ and ‘The Gambler’ and others.  We can add photographer and entrepeneur to his credits as well.  Happy Birthday Kenny Rogers.  Here’s the 2nd number one of his solo career, ‘Daytime Friends’, your KLAW Classic from 35 years ago.
