It's the official Drop Everything and Read Day (D.E.A.R) today so make a commitment to spend at least 30 minutes today to read a book and share the moment with someone you love! I asked the KLAW's staff to share their all time favorite books with me, check what they said!

Here are the books we love:

Steve Kelly 'Curious George'- "No matter how old I get 'Curious George' will always remain my favorite book!"

I remember when my daughter Whitney was little, it was a daily ritual for her to climb up on my lap fresh from her bath and we would read together before bed. She now does the same thing with her daughter. Not only does it introduces a love of books and reading, it helps to settle little ones down before bed.

Here in Lawton, you may have seen children reading in the park as part of D.E.A.R celebration.  It was called  "Lark in the Park". Several Elementary Schools honored this day by acting out books to their classes at the mall.
National D. E. A. R.  is celebrated on the birthday of Beverly Cleary, the author of the Ramona Quimby books, each year on April 12.
What's your all time favorite book?
