5 Restaurants With the Best Discounts for Kids and Seniors in Lawton

Whether you are a young family just starting out, and have a limited dining budget, or you have retired and are on a fixed income, discounts from restaurants are much appreciated.  My family has both young children (my grand babies), and Senior Citizens (my Mom), and we eat out regularly on Sundays.  I wanted to find local restaurants that could offer savings to families just like us.

Some restaurants only offer specials on certain days of the week, others a flat discount everyday, and some even break down to the most favorable hours for discounts.  Here's a look at what I found.

El Chico

El Chico in Central Mall offers a Kid's Meal for just 99 cents on Thursday evenings starting at 5 p.m.  This includes a magician that visits tables and makes balloon animals for the kiddos.

Mikes Sports Grill

Mikes Sports Grill, also offers a special discount for  children, but on Sundays, rather than Thursday.  At Mike's your little one can dine for just $1.99 with the purchase of an adult meal.

Burger King

Our family stops at Burger King in Medicine Park almost every Sunday.  They have Kids Meals with really no other discount for the kids, but they do offer a 10% discount for Senior Citizens over the age of 55.  No ID required, but you must ask for the discount.  (They don't want to offend us and ask if we qualify for the Senior discount!)

Fishermen's Cove

Also, in Medicine Park, if you are looking for a little relief in the fine dining department, look no further than Fishermen's Cove.  At Fishermen's Cove, you will find kid's meals at $4.99-$5.99 every day, plus a Senior Discount of 10%.

Golden Corral

Golden Corral in Lawton also has great discounts for Senior Citizens!  During the breakfast or lunch buffet time frame, Seniors will enjoy a 70 cent discount, and if you dine in the evening, you'll save 80 cents.  But, Golden Corral goes one step further for the Seniors of Lawton with an early-bird seating from 2-4 p.m. with the buffet cost of just $6.99 including your drink!.

If you are looking for ways to spend your savings, you could take in a movie, and get a discount doing it!  Dickinson Theaters in the Central Mall offer a discount off the normal admission of $9.25.  Kids ages 3-11 and Seniors over 60 will be admitted for just $6.50.
