Luke Bryan has been forced to call off the very first date of his 2016 Farm Tour.

The country superstar posted the news to his website on Tuesday (Oct. 4), letting fans know that the opening date, scheduled for Wednesday (Oct. 5) in South Carolina, will not go forward as planned, due to predictions about the weather.

The post reads as follows:

Due to the Hurricane Matthew evacuation orders that begin on Wednesday in the coastal areas of South Carolina that will impact the traffic routes to the farm, the Luke Bryan Farm Tour 2016 at Culler Farms in Gaston, SC tomorrow, Oct 5, will be cancelled.
Full refunds will be provided within the next 72 hours with confirmation being sent via email.

Bryan was forced to repeatedly cancel Farm Tour dates in 2015 due to weather conditions, including one in Lexington, Ky., for which he apologized.

“Postponing a show is so difficult for me because I know it an inconvenience to the people that make my life amazing. The fans. Very sorry!” Bryan wrote.

“Rain is not a good thing when farmers are trying to harvest crops and I’m doing farm tour shows,” he added in another tweet.

He even had to cancel a date in South Carolina not once, but twice in 2015 after rains flooded much of the area.

“I know you guys are mad,” Bryan said at the time. “I am heartbroken. We schedule farm tour in October because it is historically the driest month of the year.”

So far there's no indication as to if or when the 2016 Gaston, S.C., date might be re-scheduled. Bryan's next Farm Tour date is slated for Thursday night (Oct. 6) in Greenback, Tenn.
