It's safe to say that anything can happen at a Luke Bryan show. During this year's CMA Fest, Bryan was headlining Nashville's Nissan Stadium Sunday (June 10) as part of the festivities, when the singer suddenly spotted a familiar — and legendary —face in the crowd.

"We got Mr. Randy Travis down here, everybody," Bryan announced, which was received with hoots and hollers from the audience. He then launched into an impromptu version of Travis' 1986 hit "On the Other Hand."

Bryan was clearly in a mid-'80s Travis mood, because he also treated the crowd to a version of 1986's "Diggin' Up Bones." Both songs are off Travis' major-label debut Storms of Life. "Diggin' Up Bones" earned Travis his first Grammy Award, for Best Male Country Vocal Performance.

Bryan's CMA Fest stop fell amid his What Makes You Country Tour trek, which continues through the summer into October, with more stadium and amphitheater stops planned. He'll also be working in dates for his small-town Farm Tour starting at the end of September, with the intention of bringing awareness to farming communities and providing scholarships for families who live in those communities.
