The opening week of Highlander Football.  The Highlanders started out a little slow Thursday night to start the 2011 Football season for their first home game at Cameron Stadium.  Quarterback Taylor Chasteen threw 3 interceptions in the first quarter but the Wichita Falls Coyotes would only take advantage of one of them with a field goal in the first quarter, the Highlanders found themselves down by 10 in the first quarter and a 10-7 halftime score.  This game is a nature of two halves and that fact was evident the second half with the big story line of the night, running back Darious Graham, the junior, rushed for over 200 yards and scored 4 touchdowns, 2 in the second half.  Wichita Falls had no answer for this strong runner that will be a big key for the Highlanders this season.  Final Score Mac 47, Wichita Falls 17.

Next week, city rival Lawton High!

Hoka Hey - Mac!
