Written by Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, "If You Don't Know Me By Now" was originally recorded by Harold Melvin And The Blue Notes.becoming the group's first number one in 1972. The song, which originally written for, but never recorded by Patti Labelle again went to number one in 1989, this time a cover by British pop/soul group Simply Red.

This time around it is the latest single from Martina McBride's collection of classics "Everlasting." The album debuted at number 7 on the Billboard Hot 200 and at the top of the Country Albums chart. Martina is currently on tour supporting the album, which began May 8th in Salina, KA. Martina was recently on Taste of Country Nights with Sam Alex, talking about the excitement of a new tour which is slightly different than her previous tours and opening the tour in front of her home town.
