Miranda Lambert showed up to the 50th annual CMA Awards on Wednesday night (Nov. 2) in a stunning dark ensemble with the perfect accessory on her arm: boyfriend Anderson East.

The two matched on Country Music's Biggest Night, both wearing chic and respectable black to meet the CMA's request for black tie attire. East was by Lambert's side for red carpet pictures before the show, seated next to her during the show and appeared for photo ops backstage after the show.

Lambert wore an all-black Georges Hobeika gown with a plunging neckline and Monika Chang heels, with East opting for a perfectly-fitted classic black tux. The night was highlighted by legends and a surprise appearance from Beyonce, but these two were also a point conversation during the show and a trending topic in entertainment news.

Above all else, most fans agree that they just want to see the "Vice" singer happy following her divorce from Blake Shelton in 2015, and East seems to be the man for the job. He and Lambert have been together for nearly a year — they made their official red carpet debut at the 2016 ACM Awards. They've kept mostly quiet about their relationship, aside from a sweet social media post every now and then, including one the day after the 2016 CMAs.

"I was the big winner last night!" East writes alongside a picture of the two of them together. The couple met at one of the singer-songwriter's shows.

Lambert is due to release a double album, The Weight of These Wings, in November. The release features co-writes with East, who is also a recording artist and songwriter.
