Miranda Lambert really is an inspiration. She's a successful country artist. She runs a popular store, the Pink Pistol. And now, she's confirmed that she's opening a bed and breakfast called Ladysmith.

Last spring, Lambert and her husband, Blake Shelton, purchased the bed and breakfast, but many of the details have stayed 'hush hush' since then. The bed and breakfast is situated across the street from the Pink Pistol in Tishomingo, Okla.

“I bought the building across the street from the Pink Pistol in Tishomingo, Oklahoma,” Lambert says. “It was built in 1901, so it’s been over a year of renovations. It is a bed and breakfast but it’s also an events center, so you can rent it for weddings and showers and private parties and all kinds of stuff. But it does have eight rooms.”

Although the 'Automatic' singer is funding the new project, she will likely have other people running the venue. She admits that it's definitely a new experience for herself, saying, “I have no idea what I’m doing. I don’t know how to run a bed and breakfast or anything about it. But it’s too beautiful of a building not to restore.”

Adds Lambert, “I’m not setting a date because I don’t want to set myself up for failure, but it’s really beautiful and I think it’s going to be so much fun for people.”

The next time you're searching for a B&B, consider going to Lambert's sweet bed and breakfast. Although it probably won't be painted platinum, it will certainly be a treasure for country music fans.

The country star's newest album, 'Platinum,' is making waves in country music, and it most recently topped the Billboard 200, giving her a first No. 1 on that chart. She's only the 11th female since 1956 to top Billboard 200.
