Molly And The Cell Phone ARGHHHH!

If you have a teenage daughter or son you might have an idea where I am going with this. 

Open the phone bill the other night and even though we have unlimited texting plan, my wife and I were still shocked by the amount of text messages that were sent and received by Molly.

8, 574.  OK, maybe not a world record, but, that amount of message in one month?  I asked her who are you texting?  Of course I got the standard teen response.  Friends dad.  how many are you texting at once?  She said up to 5 or 6 at a time.  You can carry on a 6 way text conversation but you cannot listen to me or your mother for 5 minutes?  I got the "duh look" in return. Hmmm.

Maybe I need to really look closer.  But I did notice that she can do homework, watch TV, listen to the latest tunes off of her phone and text all at the same time without missing a beat. 

I am not even that talented.  So I decided to look at my son's part of the bill.  No where close.  Only like 127.  I can deal with that.  How many parents are dealing with a teen who cannot tear away from the texting monster?
