Morgan Wallen took the opportunity during his show in Bloomington, Ind., on Feb. 1 to dedicate a song to a special couple during his show — one of the pair who had sadly just received the heartbreaking news that he has been diagnosed with cancer.

According to Whiskey Riff, Wallen told the crowd, "I was in my VIP earlier and one of the people there asked me to dedicate this song. Somebody he knew who got married and this was their wedding song. Me and my buddies wrote this a couple of years ago and a guy named Jason Aldean ended up singing it. He made it a single, and this is my first No. 1 as a songwriter right here."

He went on to give the dedication: "I just wanted to say shout out to Evan and Kaylin. I told you I'd remember." The video (above) pans to the couple's expressions, which were filled with happiness at the priceless moment.

"I tell this story sometimes — I first started writing songs in my parents' house when I was about 18 or 19. I'd go out to the garage; they had a weight bench, the workout bench that nobody f---ing used. I used it to start writing songs on," Wallen continued.

"I bought a guitar and I started writing these shitty songs; at least I thought they were shitty at the time," he said. "It's crazy how far that weight bench has taken me. Congrats to y'all getting married. That's why we do this shit, man; if I made an impact on one person's life I think I can sleep good tonight."

Wallen performed "You Make It Easy" which he co-wrote alongside Jordan Schmidt and Florida Georgia Line's Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard. The song was recorded by Aldean, and went to No. 1.
