David absolutely LOVES my brownies. I don't make them very often or we would both be way overweight. They are a special treat around our house so I will share the recipe with you, on one condition, don't tell my husband they come from a box!

Yes, that's right. The brownies are the fudge brownie mix from Pillsbury but the secret to make them uber good is the frosting so I will share my frosting recipe with you. Just make the 13 x 9 family size brownies and let them cool.  After they cool make this frosting, pour it on them, let it cool and ENJOY! (I promise, you'll thank me later!)

Best Ever Fudge Frosting Recipe

1 1/3 cup sugar
6 Tbs butter (not margarine...use butter)
6 Tbs milk

Boil together these 3 ingredients, stirring constantly (it burns easily). When the mixture comes to a rolling boil start your timer and boil for EXACTLY 3 minutes!

Add:
1 Cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla

Stir until chips are melted and frosting is nice and creamy. Spread on 9 x 13 pan of brownies (sets quickly). Let the spoon and pan you made it in cool and give it to your husband (or kids) they will love you for it.

Note: Bring sugar, butter and milk to a rolling boil before you start timing the 3 minutes.

Serve with an ice cold glass of milk and enjoy.  Let me know what you think after you make it.
