Nascar’s Tony Stewart Breaks Leg in Sprint Car Crash [VIDEO]

Just a little over a month ago, Tony Stewart raced in front of thousands of fans here at the Lawton Speedway.  Today he is resting at a hospital in Iowa after suffering a couple of broken bones thanks to a crash in the Front Row Challenge at the Southern Iowa Speedway.

Stewart like many Nascar drivers, race as many nights as possible. He has his own Sprint car team, and was leading the race with 5 laps to go when a lapped car spun and wrapped up the 3 leading drivers.

Tony Stewart who is in a wild card position for the Nascar’s Chase will miss this week’s race at Watkins Glen.  No replacement driver has been named at this time.
