A dozen country songs were featured on the 'Nashville' season premiere on ABC on Oct. 10. Many of the songs picked for the big debut of the drama series are currently-charting songs, but some of those featured you may not be familiar with yet.

Among the established country stars, Miranda Lambert and Justin Moore may have been the most recognizable voices on the premiere of 'Nashville.' Eli Young Band and legends like John Conlee and Tammy Wynette also recorded songs chosen for the pilot episode. In most cases, these were worked in between scenes, but a few were featured prominently.

Juliette Barnes and Rayna James sang 'Love Like Mine' and 'Already Gone' (not the Sugarland song) during their respective Grand Ole Opry performances. James rehearsed for her tour singing 'Its My Life' before earbud problems forced her to break. 'Back Home' is the song Deacon Claybourne sang that attracted Barnes to him... in more ways than one.
