All right, I've just got to vent about my recent experience with the doctor. I've only worked one day this week due to my bronchitis. On Tuesday I was told I would need to be out for two days and be on meds.

Well, the doctor in the little doc-in-the-box place I went to put me on steroids, and by the next day I felt like I could lift a pickup truck! So I went back to work a day early.

Baaaad mistake! By 9PM that night my producer Todd and I knew that I had slightly overdone it. My body was needing rest, but I just couldn't sleep!

The next day I took more meds, and again I was bothering my boss, producer, our web team and everybody else with ideas and things that needed to be addressed. My boss said very nicely, "I think you should get some rest."

But yesterday was the worst yet. I can't rest because of the steroids -- so how am I supposed to get better? I feel like crud, but I absolutely hate being away from you and everything involved in the show. I hope I'm not contagious, because no matter what, I'm going to be there tonight at 7PM! I have a pair of tickets to give away to our huge Taste of Country Music Festival!

I hope this blog made some kind of sense, since I am in bed and on meds as I'm typing it. What makes you feel better when you're sick?
