Old Crow Medicine Show are teaming up with a surprising act for the next edition of CMT Crossroads. The "Wagon Wheel" singers have announced that Kesha will join them for an episode of the series that will tape in Nashville and air on CMT on Dec. 6 at 10PM ET.

The show follows the release of the group's April 2017 track-by-track tribute album to Bob Dylan titled 50 Years of Blonde on Blonde, in honor of his iconic album of the same name that was released in 1966 on the same record label, Columbia Nashville. The group also released a live performance of the album via DVD.

"I grew up on country music, it was the first music I sang, listened to and wrote as a child, and I’m especially stoked to be collaborating with Old Crow Medicine Show,” Kesha says of performing with OCMS. “I’ve always admired early country artists such as Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Gram Parsons and Loretta Lynn and the outlaw attitude of some of those early country artists who helped create rock ‘n’ roll. To me, Old Crow Medicine Show epitomizes that attitude and wildness while also being amazing songwriters and performers.”

Kesha's new album, Rainbow, debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 and features the praiseworthy first single "Praying." Of course, she is just one of many acts to join country's brightest stars on the crossover show, which most recently featured Florida Georgia Line with the Backstreet Boys. Past episodes have featured Maren Morris and Alicia Keys, Katy Perry with Kacey Musgraves, Carrie Underwood and Steven Tyler and more.
