Places To Get A Smoked Thanksgiving Turkey Around Lawton

It is that time of year already.  In just a few days, the majority of Americans (where ever they may be) will sit down to a traditional Thanksgiving meal.  Most meals will consist of the usual flare, baked turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, a wide variety of vegetables and desserts out the wazoo.

But this is about the guest of honor;  Tom T. Turkey.  Now, baked is how 99% us grew up having it served up  on Thanksgiving.  Then there is fried, which is how we have it at our annual office luncheon.  Critter does a fantastic job in that department, by the way. Then there is smoked turkey.   I have never had smoked turkey.  I have had all other kinds of beef and poultry but never turkey.   So I set out to find places in Lawton that will smoke a turkey for your meal this thanksgiving.

Indiahoma FFA

The Indiahoma FFA is taking orders for the following smoked meats:  Turkey, Ham and Brisket.  Orders will be taken through this Friday, November 18th.

If turkey is not what you want, try a Honey Glazed Spiral cut Ham from Ridley's Butcher Shop in Duncan.  They are located at 416 East Main Street. In business since 1925,  the one thing that has never changed is the quality of their meat and service.
