Dwight Yoakam picks up his first gold album, for Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc. The album featured three singles: "Honky Tonk Man" (#3), "Guitars, Cadillacs" (#4) and "It Won't Hurt" (#31).
The album was re-issued on October 17, 2006, complete with demos from 1981 and tracks recorded live at the Roxy in 1986.
