Welcome to Nashville, Rachel Bilson and Kaitlin Doubleday! The two actresses will join the cast of the CMT TV show following its Season 5 mid-season break.

Following Thursday night's (March 9) mid-season finale of Nashville, both Bilson and Doubleday shared their news about joining the show's cast on social media: Bilson posted a photo of the door of the fictional record company Highway 65, along with the caption, "Music City, here I come," while Doubleday shared a shapshot of the Bluebird Cafe's awning; "this will definitely be a change of pace!" she captioned the picture.

“We welcome Rachel and Kaitlin into our incredibly talented ensemble,” says Marshall Herskovitz, Nashville's executive producer and showrunner (quote via CMT). “We fondly anticipate the second half of the season, filled with surprising twists and turns that make Nashville so beloved by the fans.”

Most recently, Bilson played Zoe Hart in the CW series Hart of Dixie, though fans of the show The O.C. (on which Nashville regular Chris Carmack also appeared) also know her as Summer Roberts. Her other credits include New York, I Love YouHow I Met Your Mother and Waiting for Forever.

Doubleday, meanwhile, is known for her role as Rhonda Lyon on Empire. Since making her film debut, at the age of 17, in Catch Me If You Can, Doubleday has also landed roles in Waiting and Accepted.
